$100,000 Hybrid Car Owned by Leonardo DiCaprio Must See!
Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted on Wednesday in Los Angeles driving the new $100,000 2012 Fisker Karma hybrid, one of the rarest yet environmentally-friendly cars in the world, according to media photos obtained by the Daily Mail newspaper. The Karma sportscar, which has received attention as of late due to DiCaprio purchasing one, is dubbed by Fisker as “the world’s first premium electric plug-in hybrid” but also features “performance, style and luxury.”
The car is considered a luxury vehicle; it has features including solar panel sunroof, key-less entry, and can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds. It gets around 100 miles per gallon. DiCaprio reportedly got the very first model of the vehicle. DiCaprio has earned a reputation as a noted environmental activist and philanthropist. In 2010, he donated more than $1 million to the Wildlife Conservation Society.
