Plot: As they're held for ransom, a husband and wife's predicament grows more dire amid the discovery of betrayal and deception. Trespass is an upcoming American psychological thriller directed by Joel Schumacher. It will star Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman as a married couple taken hostage by extortionists. Shooting on the project began in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 30, 2010. the film will receive a festival premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival in September. The film is set for release in the Netherlands on September 1, 2011 and in the United States on October 14, 2011.
