Jersey Shore's Snooki reveals co-star Mike Sorrentino is in a bad financial situation

He has earned a small fortune after shooting to fame in notorious reality show Jersey Show.

But it seems The Situation already looks grim for Mike Sorrentino, as his dismal financial management skills has been revealed by his co-star Snooki.

The fact the 29-year-old is broke will surely come as a shock for fans of the controversial MTV hit, as the cast are each being paid more than $100,000 per episode.

Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, referenced his dire straits in a brutally honest interview with men's magazine GQ magazine.

She said: 'Jersey Shore is going to end soon.

'I’m not going to spend money like Mike. He’s already broke.'

The notoriously fashion forward star said she has been saving all of her earnings so she can support herself when the show finally comes to an end.

Mike loves living the good life, and is often snapped in designer threads when he attends parties around the US.


But his 23-year-old chum admits she’s more frugal with her finances, and even revealed she has a career plan in place for when her notoriety ends.

She said she wants to get a veterinary technician license, and is even  planning to return to her old school because of its affordable tuition.

Snooki said: 'It's small, they have a great vet tech program and it's cheap,

When told she no longer has to pinch pennies, Snooki said, “I don’t care. My entire outfit is probably like 50 bucks total.'

Snooki is an adopted Italian, but her she was actually born in sunny South American country Chile.
